LeBrie Rich is an artist and educator living in Portland, Oregon. LeBrie has been teaching feltmaking for 13 years and loves to introduce people the miraculous and fun process of transforming raw wool into felt! LeBrie's production line, PenFelt, has been sold at select craft galleries nationally since 2004. Her work has been featured in a variety of publications, for print and web, including The New York Times and 1000 Artisan Textiles by Lark Press.
PenFelt Studio is LeBrie Rich’s well-equipped workspace located near SE 33rd and Belmont in Portland, Oregon. Workshops are kept small (4-8 students) and frequently fill, so advance registration is strongly recommended. To register for a class, contact me directly. Payment and location details will be provided upon registration. The prices listed include all the materials you’ll need to make your project.
In addition to scheduled workshops open to the public, I host private workshops for groups of friends and for corporate events. Private workshops generally have a 4 person minimum, and the per person cost is the same as for public workshops. Contact me for more information.
I am proud to offer sliding scale pricing for seniors/those on a low income who would otherwise not be able to afford workshops. Inquire for more information.
