Curious about the wooly world of needle felting? Felt artist LeBrie Rich will lead you through a two-hour program and introduce you to needle felting. Perfect for the beginner crafter, needle felting is the approachable and addictive skill of sculpting raw wool with a barbed felting needle. By the end of the session, you will craft a cute penguin ornament, just in time for the holiday season. After the workshop you will be equipped with the skills to needle felt all kinds of animals and other small sculptures.

We’ll also cover all the needle felting basics: what fibers and tools work best, and great sources for high quality supplies. Warning: felting is habit forming! This might be your new favorite thing.
